"There's RED CLOVER in my hay! This is AWESOME! Thanks, human!" OK, you may not actually hear this, but that is indeed what your furry friend will be thinking. This is a terrific hay for encouraging small animals to eat more fiber, or just as a "treat" hay. Use it alone, or mix it up with some timothy. And listen closely...maybe you'll hear the excitement.
Got some timothy hay allergies? This is one of our hays that may help a lot.
Orchard hay makes a great change-up to add interest and variety to your friend's diet. Just think about how many different grasses and plants they eat "in nature". This is a terrific "lure" hay to get your furry friend interested in eating more fiber..and as we all know, they little ones need FIBER FIBER FIBER. Add Red Clover and you've got and irresistible blend!
Fiber is the most important factor in a small animal diet plan. A constant supply of hay keeps the GI tract in great shape, and helps to prevent bloat, stasis, and dental issues.
We have close relationships with the farmers in Washington State (where we started, and the home of one of our two warehouses). We personally choose what hay we like by going to fields, seeing and smelling and touching the crops. Then we hand pack every box that goes out, so we see it all again. Our eyes are on everything that comes to you, from the field to your door, so we can get you not only the best hay, but the most consistent hay. This keeps your friend's digestive system happy, and you know what to expect from us.
Feeding directions: fully 80% of your friend's diet should be great hay. Small animals need a constant supply of fiber to keep them healthy, so never let them run out. To keep the hay smelling nice (which makes it yummier and more enticing to our little fuzzies), make sure they get a fresh supply at least once a day.
