Can rabbits eat oatmeal?

Can I feed my rabbit oatmeal?

Rabbits might be able to eat oatmeal but that doesn’t mean that you should feed it to them.  Rabbits need a diet made of high quality timothy hay, fresh and clean water, and quality rabbit pellets.  Many rabbit owners will also successfully supplement their rabbits diet with a sensible amount of vegetables, and the occasional fresh fruit as a treat.  Although it is ok to feed these things as supplement, always remember the core of your rabbits diet needs to be made up of high fiber hay and quality rabbit pellets.

So can rabbits eat oatmeal?  No, you really should not feed your rabbit oatmeal.

Thanks for stopping by, and we hope this post has been helpful.  And of course please come back soon!

Till next time, love those bunnies…
